Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith, President since 2012 of NY Metro Area Local, the largest and most activist local in the APWU, has played a dynamic role in national campaigns for Postal Banking, to Stop Staples, and creating A Grand Alliance. His commitment to maintaining an all-career workforce and to preserve and protect the public Postal Service motivates him to stop the privatization, closing and consolidation of postal facilities.​
